Chocolate-For-Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

½ avocado

½ banana – can use frozen or fresh

1 Tbsp.  raw organic cacao – you can add raw cacao nibs for a kick

¼ of your favorite milk (I like hemp or almond milk)

Top with blueberries, or fruit of your choice & hemp seeds

Instructions:

Place everything in your blender (except the toppings) and blend until nice & creamy.

Add more milk to obtain a more liquid texture.  If you find it has too much liquid, you can add a few pieces of bananas and/or avocado.

Garnish with the toppings of your choice.

Berry Blast Smoothie

Berry Blast Smoothie

Ingredients:

6 oz. organic vanilla yogurt

4 ripe strawberries (organic please) can use fresh or frozen

½ cup blueberries (organic please) fresh or frozen

1 Tbsp. oat bran or flax meal

4 oz. organic unsweetened cranberry juice

1 Tbsp. raw honey

1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice

Ice optional

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.  Serve in a chilled glass!

 

Peppermint Delight Smoothie

Peppermint Delight Smoothie

Ingredients:

Half a frozen banana

1 cup of cashew milk (can substitute with almond or coconut)

1 cup of spinach (organic please)

2 drops of essential peppermint oil (make sure it’s therapeutic grade) or add a handful of fresh mint (organic please)

2 drops of vanilla extract

Instructions:

Blend until smooth.  My daughter likes to add ice cubes.  You can also add 1 Tbsp. of raw cacao nibs for a little kick!

Glowing Green Smoothie

Glowing Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of dairy free milk (I like almond or hemp)

4 kale leaves (organic please)

½ cup parsley (organic please)

½ apple (organic please)

1 Tbsp. flax meal

1 Tsp. ginger root

Juice from one lemon

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth.  You can add more milk or water.
